District Governor Commends Uralla
The Governor for Rotary District 9650 Ian Dyball commended Uralla during his recent visit to the Uralla Club, stating that the Uralla club has been continuously visible in the district with its adoption of change and the methods it is employing to cater for the younger generations.
Governor Dyball also expressed his admiration for the clubs efforts in finding outgoing ways of assisting the local business community, such as the Uralla Business Awards, and the club’s sponsorship and assistance in the restoration and opening of Uralla’s new Street Stall.
These activities provide a continuous benefit to the community and help to foster growth on a larger scale, and it is great to see the club leading the way in such activities which will have long lasting effects.
As part of last months activities and spearheaded by local member Noel McLaren, the Uralla Rotary Club will also undertaken the challenge of raising funds to sponsor its own shelter box, which will be used to provide aid ready to go aid anywhere around the world, offering shelter, medical aid and supplies to those affected by natural disasters.
